Jamie Ali – MREC Cert RP – Managing Director of Converge Recruitment Ltd, based in Hursley, nr Winchester, Hampshire. Strategically located in between the Salisbury plain and Aldershot/Sandhurst areas to also focus on National MoD Technical & support function requirements on a Temporary and Permanent basis.
I am a qualified, respected and successful Recruitment Consultant and Business Manager with 10 years of Property and Construction recruitment experience. I now bring 8 and a half years of MoD/DE/ DEHD, Prime contracting experience plus other ring fenced specialist PFI contracts and various Property management contracts.
After taking a brand new office to become the best in my former companies division, I was promoted to Area Manager, to manage three Property and Construction branches. At this stage I had indentified a need for an Independent within this sector and hence Converge Recruitment was born.
I have a compelling track record in setting up new businesses and developing high performance cultures, accompanied with a high personal level services delivery history, helping me maintain very long business relations with many client strategic and operations Staff / Managers. I also successfully secured and completed a national campaign of 67 permanent vacancies on a sole agency basis with the MoD (DE) and waiting decision possible future campaigns.
