Description Key purpose of the role To assist the Garrison Support Services Manager in the day to day provision of all support services across the Larkhill Garrison. Key responsibilities Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. Ensure that all areas of responsibility adopt and utilise their QHSE policies and procedures. Ensure that all areas of responsibility employ ‘safe working practices’ at all times. To work closely with the Garrison Support Service Manager and QHSE Manager in the development of safe working practices. To ensure all staff are suitably trained and equipped in order that they operate in accordance with their QHSE policies and procedures. Service Provision Assist the Garrison Support Services Manager to: Liaise with customers, the authority, contract partners, staff and public bodies as appropriate to ensure that the provision of support services meets and exceeds service level agreements. Retain an in date knowledge of best practice in all support services delivered on the garrison. To manage and co-ordinate delivery of the following services: Accommodation / Catering / Cleaning / Waste / Transport / Office Services / Conference Services Be proactive with regard to any support service function conducted on site and be responsive to meeting any additional requirements. To work closely with the Garrison Support Services Manager to continually review service provision and to develop effective local systems and procedures. To ensure that all staff are kept informed of legislation, new working practices and technological changes. To actively network in order to develop strong and effective working relationships across the customer base and ensure that good reputations of our client are maintained at all times. To work within our clients complaints procedure, to ensure that all customer related complaints are handled swiftly and effectively in order to achieve the earliest resolution. Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Garrison Support Services Manager or other members of the Garrison Management team. Qualifications Desirable: Management qualifications i.e. IOSH BIFM Experience EssentialProven experience in FM services or relevant fields Experience and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
