Aldershot, Hampshire. (Based in the main head office for their operation in the South) Our client is part of the MoD (One of the country’s largest landlords) requires a good Surveyor / Cost Manager for their Estates and Facilities department, plus one for their Major works section as well. Working within a collaborative team environment, the post-holder will provide quality costing and pricing advice to the Integrated Project team. Acting as the Quantity Surveyor Head of Professions local representative, the post-holder will champion quantity surveying best practice in the region. This will involve ensuring that MOD received value for money through the services contracted for and delivered by the Prime Contractor and supply chain; ensuring that the Integrated Project team willingly co-operates to achieve their goals. Managing Change Proposals at regional level in a controlled manner to satisfy customer needs within the processes prescribed and authority delegated. Provision of accurate and realistic cost advice to the Integrated Project team. Driving licence required.
