Building Surveyor Location: Pirbright, Surrey Rate: £25.00 p/h to £30.00 p/h (dependent on experience and suitability) Start immediately after security clearance and references. (Can be done within a week). Our client is part of the UK Government with large Establishments and Laboratories near Newbury, Berkshire and near Guildford, Surrey. They also have a major rebuilding programme is underway at their Laboratory, due for completion in 2011. They require a short term agency building surveyor. Minimum of 3 months work but could be longer. They require someone who can hit the ground running, who has the ability to write specifications, compile contract documentation, manage contractors, including managing contracts meetings. The person they are looking must have a few years post graduate experience in Building Surveying, on Commercial / Industrial / Defence or Local Authority Public Buildings. They must be able work independently, use own initiative and with the minimum of supervision plus potentially move between sites.
