Authorised Person – Mechanical &Electrical building Employment Status Permanent Location Falkland Islands Salary £38,500p/a Benefits *TAX FREE (SUBJECT TO TERMS) Job Description .Authorised Person – Mechanical &Electrical building services required To carry out the role of Authorised Person for Boilers & Pressure Vessels, Petroleum and Electrical (LV). Assist with the management and implementation of plant operation, planned preventative maintenance, statutory tests and other inspections on military buildings, plant and equipment in the Falklands Islands Oversee the operation of utilities such as water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, boiler house, power generation and fuels facilities. Management and planning the Mechanical aspects of the PPM system Management of the Mechanical section within the O&M Department, liaising closely with trade Supervisors, sub-contractors/business partners with regular meetings to ensure contract deliverables are met. Gain MoD approved qualifications and become an Authorised Person for to enable issue of safety documents required by SRP's for Boilers * Pressure Vessels, Petroleum and Electrical (LV). Salary: £27.5k with 20% on site uplift and 20% end of tour bonus (£38,500pa TAX FREE) One tour is 13 months. This usually means 6 months on, 1 month leave, 6 months on.
